Topic: General Question: Weapon/Armor Restrictions?

So I have been going through the Rules and Magic pdf an I have recently noticed that there doesn't appear to be any speciffic weapon nor armor restrictions for any of the classes. Would this mean for instance that a Magic-User could wear leather armor, weild a sword and or firearms? As is the only restrictions I see are based on encumbrance insofar as going towards M-U/Elf spellcasting and general movement and skill usage/actions. Am I reading this correctly?

Cool guess I should check the previouse threads more. This game just gets better and better!
