Topic: Truth in advertising...

As a joke, I named the ship my players were traveling on the Nostromo. When my players found out one of them attempted to dive into the sea to avoid his doom. I had to change the name of the ship to the Fluffy Bunny before we could move on.

Then the Weird stuff started happening and it was too late to jump overboard...

So the lesson I learned is if I'm going to put a monster on a ship I can't name the ship after anything from a horror movie.

Yeah you sort of need to remember that everyone else at the table is a nerd, too. And we all know most of the same references!

Damn it. I hate when players figure out that all these hit points and magic spells and stuff are just there to fool them into thinking their characters can win. tongue

Of course they could win...

The GM could suffer a fatal heart attack before the session is over...
