The entry was me having a bit of fun with certain "cinematic" assumptions. The rule basically says characters with two weapons are mechanically no different than characters with one weapon.

OK, I figured and hoped that I was over-complicating things.

Thanks.

Am I interpreting the rules correctly here?
The rules say:  "Characters wielding two weapons attack as normal, and decide which weapon does damage if a hit is scored."

So does this mean anyone can fight two handed?  Do they get two attacks each round, but only one of them is allowed to hit?

I just want to make sure that the magic-user in Weird Fantasy RPG really has no restrictions on weapon use or armor?  I don't see any restrictions in the rules, but I guess I'm just old school and expect them to be there.

Also, the specialist does not have the restriction, but there is a statement in the rules that someone in full plate cannot surprise anyone.

There is also not a mention of any weapon restrictions for a cleric.  I can understand that this may be dependent upon the cleric's deity--so I've got no problem there.

By the way, cool game!  I really like the look-and-feel of WFRPG.  At first I was a little turned off by the absence of magic items and monsters.  But after reading through the referee's guide, I like it.  That proliferation of tons of monsters and characters with tons of magic items has always bugged me.
