Topic: Common Activities

Ok perhaps im just dumb, but i cant figure out the 1 in 6 chance thing, how do you decide what number they have to roll and also why do you fill in some of the dots on the character sheets, PLEASE HELP

Re: Common Activities

For a 1-in-6 chance a roll of 1 is a success. The specialist is the only one who gets skill points that can be used to improve  something. So, if the PC has 2 points in tinkering he now has a 3-in-6 chance of picking a lock. Roll a six-sider. A result of 1, 2 or 3 is a success.

You fill in the dots to indicate how high of a skill the specialist has. Everyone else just has a 1-in-6 chance of doing everything, all the time. Unless you use a house rule as I have done.
