Topic: Passing on XP to Next Character

A weird question perhaps:

I have this thought in LotFP when a character dies some XP is passed onto the next character. But cannot find it anywhere in the rules.

Did I dream this? Or meld it with some rules adjustment I read about somewhere? Or just making it up?

My group enjoys the henchmen method. It slows down the leveling up process if everyone drags a henchman along, but they're fine with that, and like the extra versatility anyways.
